Almost 48 hours in Vienna, Austria!

If I hadn't been careful...I could have blinked and missed Vienna all together, but I'm happy I didn't! It's already on my list of places to return to! The only downfall was that most stores closed around 5 if not earlier! The food was wonderful, the sights were beautiful, and I really just had a great time on this visit! Below are a few snapshots of the time spent in Vienna!

Millennium tower...because really who doesn't have one! (at least in Europe I speaking of!)

The Imperial City...St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg is definitely a lot more than looking for the Tsars...well, they've been gone for a while now, but its been about experiencing a culture that, in many respects is quite similar to our own, but with an enjoyment of the nuances of everyday life here.

Few things learned is Russian is hard to understand...
Don't go into a bakery after 5pm and expect flavors other than cabbage to be available...

Goodbye Moscow...HELLO St. Petersburg and Goodnight!

So, here are some words to live by....LEARN TO SPEAK RUSSIAN! It's an amazing language to hear, but it's hard to speak for newbies and to read...it uses a different alphabet!

Ok...like the last two post...these will be short and sweet...aka I'm really tired and going to bed in about 4 minutes! Moscow was fun, but I can tell in the 5 hours we've been in St. Petersburg so far, I'm going to love this city!

Yep...this is a burger vending machine at the Moscow Train Station!
This is our train dock...we had no idea what it meant!

Moscow in two parts!

Moscow is a city that never seems to stop moving! Its picturesque churches and nearly perfect weather (minus the rain the last day) made for quite the enjoyable experience. Because we have been always on the move, I haven't been able to update as often as I would have liked, but here is part 1 of Moscow!
